Abstract:
Subscription to Open is known as an alternative to the APC model, which is expected to explode in 2025 and is increasingly attracting attention from various stakeholders such as libraries and publishers. At present, there are no practical cases of implementing the S2O model in China, and related research is also focused on introducing and analyzing foreign experiences. This article systematically outlines the development of the S2O model, using the online statistical table of the S2O Community of Practice and the S2O online journal list in the Open Access Directory as data sources, to analyze the key features and conduct visual analysis. Finally, a qualitative analysis was conducted on the impact and inspiration of the transformation mode on the transformation of university libraries.
